That 60’s Guy featuring Robbie Mc Gowan now together in collaboration with the sounds of The 60’s Revolution and Kerry James brings you a show not to be missed. From the very first song you’ll be amazed and delighted as this talented duo and their band take you on a magical mystery tour reminiscing the most colourful and diverse musical decade in pop history.  This show pays tribute to more than 50 well known male and female 60’s artists with over 60 of the greatest songs from the era.

Robbie brings to his audience a first class performance, drawing on his 35 year’s experience as a professional musician and longstanding member of Brisbane’s iconic 80’s cabaret/show band WITZ END, as well as working with many great Australian acts such as Normie Rowe, Colleen Hewitt, Doug Parkinson, Peter Cupples, Daryl Braithwaite, John Paul Young, Debbie Byrne & Ian Turpie to name but a few. Having spent several years performing his favourite songs from the 60’s as the highly regarded warm up act to International touring groups namely Herman’s Hermits, The Platters & The Drifters, Robbie realised how powerful and well-loved these songs still were amongst the crowd, with comments such as “I haven’t heard that song for years...but can still remember the words” being common place after most performances.

Kerry James began performing in Australia in her early teens and moved base to London throughout the 1980’s where she worked consistently throughout Britain and all across Europe. As well as being a featured performer for a number of leading cruise companies. With her effusive personality and powerful stage presence she has worked as lead vocalist and backing vocalist for both American and British Artists as well as working alongside some of the biggest names in show business including the famous 60’s band The Hollies who commented that Kerry’s version of Cilla Blacks “Your My World” was a personal favourite when she supported them on their Australian tour a few years ago.

Dressed in the wonderful wigs and costumes that adorn the 60’s era and singing such gems as “To Sir With Love”, “Only Wanna Be With You”, “Colour My World” “Boots Are Made For Walking” and many more, Kerry and her 60’s Revolution are the perfect complement to Robbie and his many 60’s hits. This is a show that will leave you smiling, singing and most definitely having a good time, a wonderful musical journey that will rekindle a very personal moment from the fab 1960’s.
